What You Get

You receive a fully completed, trail-specific planning guide built for your exact route — so you can stop guessing and start planning with confidence.

It’s not a generic PDF. It’s your trail, researched and organized into a clear, usable planning system you can actually work from.

Your Custom Trail Research is delivered as a personalized Backpacking Planner, filled in for your trail with:

• Route overview and total distance
• Elevation profile and terrain notes
• Campsites, huts, and legal camping zones
• Permit and access requirements
• Water sources, resupply points, and hazards
• Transportation, shuttles, and trailhead logistics
Multiple sample itineraries showing different pacing options
• Key decision points where hikers often adjust plans

You’re not handed one fixed schedule.
You’re given the information and structure to choose what works for your group.

Instead of juggling tabs, forums, spreadsheets, and outdated PDFs, everything you need to plan your hike lives in one clear, organized guide — built specifically for your trail.

Pricing & Options

All tiers include the same complete deliverable: a fully completed Backpacking Planner built for your requested trail.
Pricing simply reflects how much trail is being researched — longer routes naturally involve more camps, logistics, and complexity.

Not sure which tier to choose? Use the trail’s standard thru-hike distance — the number listed by official trail sources or guidebooks.

Tier 1 — Short Routes (Under 40 km / 25 mi) — $79

Ideal for shorter point-to-point routes and overnights where the logistics are straightforward, but you still want everything organized in one place.

Examples: Coyote Gulch, Egypt Lake, Rim to Rim

Delivery window: 3-5 business days

Tier 2 — Medium Routes (40–80 km / 25–50 mi) — $119

Best for classic multi-day treks with multiple camps/huts and more moving parts (transport, route splits, contingency planning).

Examples: Skyline Trail, Laugavegur Trail, West Coast Trail.

Delivery window: 5-7 business days

Tier 3 — Long Routes (80–200 km / 50–125 mi) — $169

Designed for longer thru-hikes where planning requires more segmentation, more camps, and more detailed logistics. Same information, just more of it.

Examples: West Highland Way, the O Circuit, Tour de Mont Blanc

Delivery window: 7-10 business days
